In the last two months we have had 15 applications from young women needing housing, many with children. We are currently full with 7 women and 6 children living in our homes, and several on a waitlist. Four of these women are coming from domestic violence situations, all of them have children. The idea that a child needs their father drove one mama to take her baby to see her father this past week. She is now in the hospital recovering from the surgery to fix her jaw he broke in 3 places.

The need is overwhelming. Safe housing, therapy and support to empower these young women to live a healthy life is our goal. But we can’t do it alone.
