Blossom is excited to be a part of #GivingTuesday. This global generosity movement began in 2012 and has continued to grow and inspire giving and kindness in communities around the world. The goal is to give people and organizations the power to transform their communities by giving, collaborating, and celebrating generosity. No matter how much or how little you have, every single person has the power to change the world! Save the date for this year’s Giving Tuesday: December 3rd, 2024.
HOW CAN YOU HELP?
Give Time – Contact Blossom to ask about volunteer opportunities.
Give Dollars – Make a donation online and help us continue our mission to provide safe housing, one-on-one support and resources for former foster and at-risk young women. Blossom Place is a non-profit 501©(3) organization and classified as a public charity, so all donations are tax deductible.
Give Goods – Donating diapers, gift cards, or household items are all great ways to support transition-age youth! Contact us to find out more.
Give Kindness – Do you know a transition-age youth ages 18-24 who could use a helping hand? Or perhaps is currently under a lot of stress with little or no support? Reach out to them and provide support in any way you can.
* Provide a meal or teach them to cook one
* Offer emotional support
* Care for their child for an afternoon
* Ask them how you can support them
The more our community comes alongside young people who are overwhelmed, the more we can prevent undesirable outcomes and help launch them successfully
